The 7th annual ‘Miss India New England’ 2019 held on January 19th 2019 was a unique pageant experience and talent show and a celebration of Indian heritage in vibrant way. It is truly a platform where both traditional and modern elements of Indian society are blended.
The girls/women of Indian origin who belong to Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire had competed in four rounds of contest- Evening Gown, Ethnic Dress, Talent &On-stage Question. Three categories of contestants were present -Miss India, Miss Teen or Mrs India.
Pageant crown winners of Miss India New England 2019 is Sivani Jonnalagadda; Miss India Teen New England 2019 is Mihika Abraham; Mrs India New England 2019 is Deepa Jayavelu. Crown sponsors are Tewarie Enterprises. Pageant is directed and produced by Ruchika Arora who is also state director of Miss India USA. Pageant training was sponsored by Manish Arora of IM Wireless.
The Miss India New England pageant is designed to identify and support talented young Indian American people and promote culture, traditions of India in United States for modern generations. The inspirational women introducing themselves on the stage represent strength of Indian American girls/women and community when they talk about their educational background, professional achievements and aspirations
