Lipika Narisetti, 12, a seventh-grader at the Hilliard Heritage Middle School and Abhilash Yarlagadda, 13 a eighth grader from Sycamore Junior High School in Blue Ash, Ohio were among the elite 49 spellers who reached the semi-finals of the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee Championship suburban Washington. Both first timers were failed to reach the finals. Better luck next time.
